- Quantum Entanglement

Quantum entanglement is a phenomena which can be observed between 2 or more objects at the quantum level.

Particles such as photons and electrons that have interacted with each other, somehow retain a connection and can experience entanglement with each other. This is known as correlation.

To know the spin of one entangled particle, gives you the ability to know the exact state of the other no matter how far the distance. Incredibly due to the phenomena of superposition a particle has no spin direction until it is measured and is both in spin-up and spin-down state. The spin state of the particle being measured is decided at the time of measurement and seemingly mirrored in the correlated particle, which simultaneously takes on the opposite spin to that of the particle being observed. By far the most incredible thing is that this communication is not limited to the speed of light. No matter how great the distance!
